Q: HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY LITTLE DOE JEWELLERY/PLUGS?
A: The following applies to all jewellery, but plugs in particular: Do not wear while sleeping, swimming, bathing, exercising or any other activity that your common sense will (hopefully!) tell you is probably not appropriate time to wear them. If you have young children watch out for little grabby hands! That could be painful. Avoid the jewellery coming into contact with cosmetics and perfumes and store in a safe place out of direct sunlight.
When screwing on or handing Little Doe plugs please try to gently hold the plug, with the rose tunnels, do not hold onto the rose while screwing up the back. Over time if handled improperly they may become loose or break as some of the parts are delicate.
Q: HOW LONG DOES COMPLETION TAKE?
A: Orders including handmade plugs and earrings can take up to 3-4 weeks at times. I aim to get everything done within 14 days but this is not my only job and sometimes I'm just a busy bee.
If you desperately need an order for a specific date then please tell me and try to order in plenty of time.
Q. HOW IS MY ORDER POSTED?
Unless you choose to pay more for faster or tracked delivery all orders are send standard international and second class post with a tasty extra (vegan) gift inside. I am happy to offer more postage options but am unable to add them to the checkout, so please get in touch to upgrade your postage.
I cannot replace all items lost in transit by the postal service. If your order is expensive I'd advise opting for tracked delivery.
PLEASE make sure your enter your postage details correct. Many an order has gone missing due to an incorrect post code or street name!
Q: CAN I CHOOSE A DIFFERENT MATERIAL FOR MY PLUGS?
A: Yup...sometimes! Just let me know what you'd like and I will see if I can do it. I do not recommend my fancy plugs as your main, every day jewellery however, for that I would personally choose something simple like plain steel tunnels or stone or wood plugs. Something comfortable, simple and natural. If you require plugs made from another material and are not concerned about the weight or look then I am happy to try and swap them, just get in touch.
Q: HOW DO I MAKE A CUSTOM OR BRIDAL ORDER?
A: To request a custom order please email me using the contact form and include 'custom order' in the subject title. Please give as much information as you can (without writing an essay) to help me understand what you want. If you need your order complete by a certain deadline then please get in touch in plenty of time. To customise items already in the store please send me a quick email before ordering anything to check if I can do it and if it would cost you any extra.
Please note I accept custom orders at my discretion when I have time and cannot promise to make all of them.
Q: I SAW AN ITEM ON YOUR INSTAGRAM/FACEBOOK BUT CAN'T FIND IT IN THE STORE!
A: This was probably because either it was an old item that I no longer stock; or more likely it was a custom order made for one person. Please read the info above regarding custom orders.
Q: I ONLY HAVE ONE STRETCHED EAR! OH NO, WHATEVER SHALL I DO?!!
A: Never fear. Odd pairs aren't a problem as long as the plugs are available in both of the sizes you need. Just order a pair in the largest size you need. (So if you have one ear at 18mm and one at 10mm you would order a pair of 18mm's) Then contact me or leave a message at the checkout to inform me that you wish to have an odd pair and tell me the other size needed.
Q: THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A: Please contact me via the contact form on this site. If I do not respond within a few days please re send. It's a pain but sometimes the emails might get lost in spam space or buried in all the mail.
Q: DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?
A: I cannot accept returns or exchanges for plugs and earrings for hygiene reasons. Though I can alter them if possible if there is a problem. Necklaces or other items may be returned for a refund provided they are still in the condition they were sent in. The buyer has up to 14 days after receipt of the item to get in touch; buyer pays return postage. Exchanges may be possible depending upon the item, please get in touch to check.
Q: CAN I WRITE TO THE RETURN ADDRESS?
A: The return address is for business use only. It is not my direct address so please do not send YouTube related mail.
